1. “I’M SHIPPING UP TO BOSTON” BY DROPKICK MURPHYS

Nothing gets you in the mood for St. Patrick’s day more than this Irish classic. The Dropkick Murphys deliver many Celtic jams, but none more recognizable than “I’m Shipping Up to Boston”. It is acceptable to attempt Irish dancing moves to this song, by the way.

2. “BEAUTIFUL DAY” BY U2

Is anything truly more Irish than U2? Get your St.Patty’s day rocking with this feel-good song and hopefully Bono’s words will hold true, and March 17th will be a “Beautiful Day.”

3. “ACT MY AGE” BY ONE DIRECTION

Yes, One Direction can pull off an irish-sounding jam. Niall Horan, the band’s only Irish member, probably had some influence with this song. Cheers to 1D!

4. “DEVIL’S DANCE FLOOR” BY FLOGGING MOLLY

If you haven’t already been dancing, this song will get you on your feet. “Devil’s Dance Floor” by Flogging Molly will make you feel like you are celebrating in a Dublin bar no matter where you are.

5. “THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN” BY THIN LIZZY

Thin Lizzy delivers the ultimate party anthem, which goes oh-so well with St.Patrick’s Day. The boys (and the girls too) can bust out their best air-guitar moves while singing along to “The Boys Are Back in Town.”

6. “ST. PATRICK’S DAY” BY JOHN MAYER

This one’s for all the people that are having a low-key St. Patty’s Day. “St. Patrick’s Day” is the last track on John Mayer’s debut album Room For Squares. Even though this is the 13th song on the album, Mayer has it listed as the 14th track, to avoid having an unlucky 13th track. Maybe he didn’t want to jinx the luck of the Irish!

7. “GOD SAVE IRELAND” BY THE DUBLINERS

“God Save Ireland” by the Dubliners comes off the album Definitive Pub Songs Collection. Doesn’t get much more St. Patty’s day than that, does it?

8. “IRISH CELEBRATION” BY MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis give us a contemporary Irish-themed party jam that is perfect for St. Patrick’s Day. If you thought that hip-hop couldn’t mix with St. Patty’s day, this duo proves you wrong.

9. “TUBTHUMPING (I GET KNOCKED DOWN)” BY CHUMBAWAMBA

Even though Chumbawamba was formed in England, “Tubthumbing” reached #1 on the Irish music charts. So if you get knocked down on St. Patrick’s day, Chumbawamba is here to help.

10. “THE ROCKY ROAD TO DUBLIN” BY THE TOSSERS

This version of The Dubliner’s “The Rocky Road to Dublin” is sure to set the celtic mood. Even if you’re not actually Irish, this song will bring out all of the qualities of an Irishman or Irishwoman in you.

Trebel Music has set you up with all of the ingredients you need to achieve your best possible St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Whether you’re partying at a pub or relaxing at home with a Shamrock Shake from McDonald’s, this St. Patrick’s Day playlist will get you in the Irish state of mind.
