A Look At Drake and Odell Beckham Jr.’s Bromance
Odell Beckham Jr. may have just proposed to the Giants kicking net for the world to see and Drake may have admitted to loving Rihanna since he was 22 at this years MTV VMAs, but make no mistake the best relationship that has transpired for the wide receiver and rap superstar in a while is the full on bromance they’ve shared since Drake whisked OBJ away to London for some fun across the pond. No seriously, that actually happened. In fact, watch Odell briefly talk about their first encounter on DraftKings TV:
We’ve all had a front row seat to the navigation of the treacherous terrain known as Drake’s love life thanks to records like If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late (2014) and Views (2016); while OBJ is a little more subtle in his efforts of courting women, it’s just clear these two superstars have the most chemistry together despite all of their rumored relationships. Both on and off the field, always showing love and support for his Canadian bro, Odell does his part in their bromanship supporting Drizzy by rocking Drake’s signature OVO merchandise and has even tailored his pre-game cleats to commemorate his OVO relationship like a true friend should. Similarly, Drake shifted focus from his Summer Sixteen Tour, right in time to cheer on his blonde bro via Instagram during Odell’s game against the Washington Redskins.
The union between OBJ and Drake is as solid as Drake’s well groomed beard. In a weird way seeing these two ballers together just feels nice (kind of like what I’d imagine Odell’s blonde locks to feel like). Before the 2016 NFL Season started, these two took their bromance to a whole new level when OBJ moved into Drake’s infamous YOLO Estate during the off-season. Odell shared Drake’s pool on Instagram (no confirmation yet if Drake’s pool is indeed bigger than Kanye’s) and even went as far as to show off his best moves poolside.
If we were besties with Drake, we’d schedule time to dance around his pool too. At this point, the only thing missing from this bromance is an Odell shout out in Drake’s next hit song. We’re sure the dance moves that will come will be just as epic as their whirlwind bromance.
