Big Sean’s I Decided: Download New Album for Free Now
Big Sean just dropped his new album I Decided (which you can download free in the link at the bottom). Sean’s last solo attempt came when he released his album Dark Sky Paradise, that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 back in 2015. The project spawned a bevy of hits that included “Blessings” and “Play No Games.” Though Dark Sky Paradise would be categorized as a success, Big Sean is clearly still not satisfied. His album I Decided is a new direction that he hopes will give him the critical acclaim he feels he’s still owed.
In a world where hip-hop conversations are ruled by names like Drake, J.Cole, Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean has always been a curious case. His album sales and notoriety would warrant he’s a major artist, but for some reason he’s never been considered among the hip-hop elite. His new opportunity begins with I Decided. Since the release of his lead single “Bounce Back,” he’s not only garnered an impressive amount of anticipation but the song went Gold well before the album’s release on February 3rd. Sean took to Twitter to thank fans:

Until now, details on the album have been scarce. However, despite releasing a single titled “No More Interviews,” it seems Sean had a change of heart and explained the concept of the album during an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon:
“The story of the album is: imagine you went through life and you made all the wrong decisions your whole life. You get to the end of your life and your at a moment where it’s like, ‘God, I did everything wrong. I didn’t work it out with the love of my life. I messed it up with my parents. I’m not doing the job I was sent here to do on Earth.’ So the album is basically a chance of like having that wisdom of an old man while you’re young and going through life and figuring it out.”
As the saying goes “Hindsight is 20/20.” With a perspective like that (and given the music he’s been releasing) it seems like I Decided will not only be some of Big Sean’s best work, it could very well be the album that propels him to greatness.
