6 Artists You Can’t Miss At The Billboard Hot 100 Festival

By  |

The Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival is back again! On August 20-21st, artists from all genres will be taking The Grounds at Nikon Beach Theater in Long Island for a weekend of music, fun, and partying. There are over 40 artists in the lineup, but Trebel Music has selected six of the performers who will put on shows that you shouldn’t miss. If your headed to the Hot 100 Fest, makes sure you give these acts a visit.

1. Calvin Harris

A headliner, of course, Calvin Harris will be sure to put on an exciting dance-filled performance. Calvin Harris is no stranger to the Billboard Hot 100 charts because over the years he has had 10 of his songs chart on the Hot 100 list. After his breakup fiasco with Taylor Swift, it should be cool to see Calvin Harris in his element instead of in the tabloids.

2. Rae Sremmurd

This hip-hop duo from Mississippi is a must-see at the Hot 100 fest. Both members of the duo are in their early 20’s, so a high energy show is expected. Rae Sremmurd also just released a new album SremmLife2, so you can count on hearing some new music at their set.

3. Ariana Grande

The pop superstar Ariana Grande is another headliner at this year’s Billboard Hot 100 Music Fest. It’s hard to keep track of how many hits Grande has had because she’s a pro at climbing the Billboard charts. That being said, be prepared to sing the night away to some of her big hits. And if you’re really brave, see if you can keep up with some of Grande’s high notes (not likely).

4. Desiigner

If you constantly find yourself rapping “panda, panda, panda,” in your head, you’d best head over to see Desiigner at the Hot 100 Fest. The “Panda” singer will take the stage to preform his mega hit, and some new songs as well. The rapper released an album this summer titled New English which he will pull from during his set. Get ready to party if you stop by Desiigner’s show this weekend.

5. Moon Taxi

EDM, Pop, and Hip-Hop not your style? Moon Taxi will fulfill your indie-rock needs at the Hot 100 Fest. This summer alone, Moon Taxi has graced festival stages such as Coachella, Firefly, and Hangout. Moon Taxi will bring a chilled-out mellow vibe for festival goers who might need a little break from partying. So grab a beer and jam out with Moon Taxi at the festival this weekend.

6. J.Cole

J.Cole is the hip-hop headliner for the Billboard Hot 100 Festival. He is one of the most respected names in the Hip-Hop industry at the moment, so check out his set if you want to hear the master at work. Hear some hits off his newest album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, and if your lucky he’ll preform some of his old hits like “Work Out,” and “Crooked Smile.”

If you’re lucky enough to attend this year’s Billboard Hot 100 Festival, try to stop by and see these six artists. If none of these artists are up your alley, that’s okay because you have around 40 others to choose from. For more music news follow Trebel Music on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
